Caroline is an RN and Certified Nurse Psychotherapist (CNP) with over 15 years of experience working in mental health and addiction care across both public and private treatment settings. Caroline’s approach to supporting individuals is grounded in holistic care, while creating a safe and compassionate space for healing and self-discovery.
She is an experienced facilitator for trauma-informed recovery groups, psycho-education groups, post-traumatic growth programs, as well as grief and bereavement support groups.
Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Post-traumatic Growth. Alongside her clinical knowledge, Caroline brings the insight and empathy from the personal healing she has done, informing her work with authenticity, humility, and deep respect for each person’s unique lived experience.
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Distinction from Vancouver Island University and completed her nurse psychotherapist certification through the Canadian Nurse Psychotherapist Association and College of Health Studies. She is a professional member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association.
In her personal life, Caroline is deeply connected to expressive arts, nature, and gardening. Together, she and her partner are cultivating food and flowers while bringing to life their vision of creating a restorative healing space on their farm — a place where others can reconnect, heal, and nourish their body, mind, and spirit.
