Liam specializes in Trauma-Informed Care and attachment-focused practice, with extensive experience supporting individuals and families experiencing complex behavioural, emotional, and mental health challenges, and issues related to substance use. A key area of Liam’s expertise is translating clinical knowledge into practical training and programming. His areas of focus include trauma, attachment, emotional regulation, crisis intervention, behavioural health, addictions and recovery, caregiver support, and understanding behaviour through a developmental and clinical lens.

Liam holds a Master of Clinical Social Work with a specialization in Trauma-Informed Practice, a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Social Work, a Bachelor of Applied Justice Studies, and an Addiction Studies Extension Certificate. His practice is grounded in building therapeutic relationships, strengthening systems of support, and helping individuals and families better understand the impact of trauma, attachment, and adversity on behaviour and well-being.

Though originally from Calgary, AB, Liam has spent the past few years living in the Comox Valley, where he gets to enjoy his time in the outdoors and being close to his family.
