Rachel is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with experience in mental health and addiction counselling across primary health centers and community-based organizations. A life-long interest in understanding and helping people remains at the core of her therapeutic practice. She has spent her recent years working in private practice supporting individuals and couples, particularly in the areas of ADHD, couples counselling, and navigating impacts of trauma. Prior to this she worked as an Addiction Counsellor on a reserve nearby her hometown of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Continuously drawn to the human condition, Rachel spent over a decade supporting hundreds of social and behavioural research studies at the University of Saskatchewan held the role of Qualitative Research Manager for nine years. She has co-authored published articles in the areas of education, law and medicine.

Compassion, empathy and person-centered care anchor her care. While established therapies (CBT, DBT, etc.) may be harnessed for their relevance and utility, she firmly believes that change stems from within, and that the therapeutic alliance is pivotal in service of this process.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology (BA Hons) with a Minor in Anthropology from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with Distinction (MACP) from Yorkville University in New Brunswick.

She spends her personal time with her partner, friends, and family, and enjoys being in nature, playing sports, and listening to or creating music.
